Guild Creed
When the Phoenix Guard was created it was bound by the conventions of the MMOG community and the beliefs that were founded in
Asherons Call 1 , Guardians of Fire.
We continue to hold the following creed to be true:
"We are the Guardians of Fire,
Keepers of the flames of friendship in the hearts of those around us,
Protectors of the needy, may they draw their strength from us,
And be bearers of honor, until the end shall find us."
The Phoenix Guard
Code of Conduct
• Treat others inside and outside the guild with respect. Slurs or derogatory comments related to race/creed/nationality/sexual orientation will NEVER be tolerated! Remember that you are a representative of The Phoenix Guard and your actions reflect upon your entire guild.
• Conversations about drugs, sex, and alcohol are to be kept out of guild chat, public forums, and Ventrilo. If you wish to discuss such topics, please do it privately via /whispers to the individual. Not everyone in the guild needs or wants to hear or read about these topics.
• Absolutely no arguments or fighting will be tolerated in guid, party, or raid chat. If you have a problem with someone, speak to the individually via /whispers. If the issue cannot be resolved between the two of you, then contact an officer of the guild for mediation.
• Keep profanity to a minimum as some of us have children that may be watching us play.
• Have fun! It’s a game.
If you fail to adhere to the Code of Conduct you will be subject to disciplinary action up to or including removal from the guild. All complaints and/or infractions will be thoroughly investigated by an officer to determine the severity. All of the above rules apply to guild chat, guild forums and guild voice chat software.
If you are asked by an officer to discontinue a particular behavior, please do so immediately. If you continue, you will be penalized accordingly based on the best judgement of the officer. Officers of the guild continually strive to make the guild a fun, safe environment for all members and as such must be treated with respect.
We are not a strict or harsh guild; this Code has been implemented to foster a family environment and preserve the spirit in which The Phoenix Guard was founded.
